I started building this planner because I wanted a better way to plan DPV dives between wrecks in Lake Washington. Using mapped wreck locations and lake bathymetry, I can build routes, check compass headings, calculate distances, and estimate travel times.
The planner also allows for shore entries, boat drops, and adjustable waypoints to fine tune a route. It's still a work in progress, and I'll continue improving it as I use it to plan more dives around the lake.
