I've been using MultiDeco for my trimix blending calculations for quite a while, but honestly, I haven't been all that impressed with its accuracy. I've noticed some differences between its calculated fill pressures and what I'm actually seeing at the fill station. So I decided to build my own.
The RunTime Trimix Fill Station handles adding helium first, leftover gas, custom top off mixes, and gives a breakdown of each fill. I wanted something straightforward that works the way I actually blend gas.
Over the next few months, I'll be using RunTime as my main calculator while comparing its results against MultiDeco, other mixing apps, and actual gas analyses. It's still in testing and currently uses ideal gas calculations, so I'll be independently checking the results as I go.
The goal is to see how accurate I can get it and make improvements based on actual use at the fill station.
